As part of the expansion of high-quality healthcare facilities in West Virginia, our team was proud to contribute to the WVU Elkins Medical Center project. We were responsible for the installation of Kingspan’s Designwall insulated metal panel system—a top-tier solution known for its energy efficiency, weather resistance, and clean, modern look.

Our work involved the installation of Designwall panels across the building’s exterior envelope. These high-performance insulated metal panels provided not only continuous thermal insulation, but also air, water, and vapor barrier protection in a single, streamlined product.

This project presented a unique challenge: much of the installation took place during brutal winter conditions, with freezing temperatures and harsh weather. Despite these obstacles, our team powered through, maintaining safety and craftsmanship standards while staying on schedule. Our ability to adapt and push forward under difficult conditions is a testament to the skill, professionalism, and resilience of our crew.

The completed façade delivers a high-performance building envelope designed to support the long-term sustainability and operational efficiency of the medical center. The crisp, modern look of the Kingspan panels complements WVU’s brand and commitment to patient-focused care.
