DESCRIPTION
Our team played a key role in the construction of the new Pittsburgh International Airport parking garage and exit canopy, delivering a full exterior façade and canopy package with precision and attention to detail. The project’s scope included the installation of a variety of architectural metal panels and systems, integrating both functional and aesthetic elements into a cohesive design.

The façade features approximately 27,000 square feet of Kingspan Designwall 4000 Insulated metal wall panels and an additional 2,000 square feet of Kingspan Designwall 2000 Insulated metal wall panels. Complementing the panels, we installed the East Coast Bullnose aluminum canopy system, Kingspan KingRib panels, and Morin F-12 panels. The design also incorporates deep Zee girts, expansion joint systems, Rockwool insulation, and deep louver assemblies to ensure structural integrity, thermal performance, and durability.

Design features of the project highlight clean lines, modern architectural finishes, and a dynamic combination of textures and profiles. The curved Bullnose canopy provides a striking visual statement at the exit area, while the mix of ribbed, flat, and custom Kynar panels creates depth and visual interest across the parking structure façade. This project demonstrates our team’s ability to execute complex designs, coordinate multiple trades, and deliver a high-quality, lasting solution for one of the region’s busiest transportation hubs.
