DESCRIPTION
Our team delivered a full exterior envelope package for the University of Pittsburgh’s 5th & Halket project, integrating multiple high-performance façade systems into a cohesive architectural design. The installation included Benchmark Designwall 4000 and 2000 insulated metal panels, providing continuous thermal performance and clean, modern lines across key elevations. We performed all Zee girt installations and insulation work, ensuring optimal structural support and thermal efficiency throughout the envelope. Additionally, we installed Morin BR-35 ribbed profile metal cladding and BR-35 FMWP screenwall to introduce texture and depth to the façade while maintaining long-term durability. East Coast column covers were installed on both interior and exterior elevations to enhance aesthetic continuity and structural integration. The project’s largest component, the East Coast 200 dry joint rainscreen system, required extensive coordination and precise layout to achieve proper drainage, ventilation, and alignment with the building’s complex geometry. Approximately 2,000 square feet of Construction Specialties RSH-57000 louvers were integrated into mechanical areas, blending functional airflow requirements with the overall façade aesthetic. In total, our team installed over 85,000 square feet of exterior materials, executing detailed field measurements, shop drawings, system transitions, and insulation coordination to deliver a high-performance, visually unified building envelope that aligns with the University of Pittsburgh’s architectural vision and quality expectations.
