The dramatic entrance pictured above welcomes travelers from around the globe to the newly opened Harrisburg International Airport expansion in Harrisburg, PA. Mohawk played a major role in the project, supplying and installing over 99,500 sf of roofing plate, architectural siding and canopy sheeting, 31,000 sf of architectural mesh screenwall and 150,000 sf of standing seam roof panels.

PIctured above right is the soffitt detail of the pedestrian walkway which connects the new parking structure to the new terminal building (pictured at left). The terminal design features extruded windows integrated with horizontal siding and a curved plate roof eave bordering a standing seam roof system. All siding and roofing components, including the plate, were supplied and installed by Mohawk.

Pictured at right is a detail of the sidewalk canopies. They feature translucent panel sections which allow filtered sunlight to illuminate the walks. This combination of functionality and aesthetic appeal is prominent throughout the expansion design.
