The Mercedes-Benz project provided Mohawk the opportunity to showcase our ability to efficiently complete complex projects within the constraints of an aggressive schedule. The site coordination meetings highlighted the problem-solving skills of our field superintendents. It was during one of these meetings that the decision was made to sheet the walkway sidewall (pictured bottom left) prior to the installation of the adjacent trusses and roofing. This allowed proper integration of the roof-to-sidewall transition without damaging any erected materials, (finished walkway pictured bottom right).
